As I mentioned in previous emails, we moved into our new apartment and have managed to get settled pretty quickly. The trouble with our internet set-up and mobile set up still not over and continues to be a problem. Something keeps going wrong and we are also having trouble getting our converters to work for our outlets. Anyway, all that to say that this is why I haven't been on here as often.
But...I am in love with this city. The last two day's now Tracy and I have taken the girls for a walk down to starbucks for our caffine fix and then headed down to the beach (a five minute walk from our place) for a picnic with the girls. The scenery and weather here so far has lived up to our expectations.
D and I had a "surf date" last night. We headed back to Mirawai beach again for a night out on the waves and then sat on the beach to watch the sunset. I actually had one really good ride on a wave so I was pretty proud of myself. We had rented the boards for 24hrs so we all headed out there again this morning. D is getting his surfing in that's for sure, twice in less than 24hrs.
I hope to get some of my sunset pic's up soon when we can get the computer issues worked out.
Its a good thing D has a job lined up in Ottawa for next summer b/c as of right now I would consider staying for a couple of years otherwise :)
2 weeks here already and it has flown by.

That first pic of Zaiah is just breathtaking - all the pics are beautiful. I think this is the most relaxed-looking we've ever seen D (not that he looks uptight or anything but he has had quite a load for quite awhile)- so it seems NZ is really agreeing with you all.
So cool about the church . . . and its so interesting how things are continuing to fall into place with little effort!
Keep posting the pics!
