Any advice anyone? We are trying to decide where we want to live when we return to Ottawa but also whether we want to build something or buy. So many decisions, and we are in NZ up until we 2 weeks before we have to be back for D's big job!!! I still have to find a place for us to live in NZ, lol. Maybe I should concentrate on that first :)
BTW, we leave for NZ on Decembre 28th!! D booked the tickets. And we are stopping in Fiji for 5 days and celebrating new years there which will be a whole day ahead of new years here. Should be interesting :)
oops, just realized that I was logged in under Darryl, but it was I, Heather who wrote this post. You probably guessed that since Darryl hasn't written on here yet and I don't think he would refer to himself in the third person either, he,he.

Even though you've lived in Ottawa for a while now, when you go back after NZ, I suggest that you rent for a while. A few months if you can. And then find the perfect place to build or buy. I'm a fan of building the perfect house rather than buying somebody else's dream. But who knows what the Ottawa market will be like when you get back. Things can change quickly. So yup - I suggest that you plan to rent for a while to gauge the market. :)
